GP2 Asia Series Abu Dhabi: Stefano Coletti dominates the sprint race

Relatively predictable career which we have lived today in Abu Dhabi. Max Chilton was penalized and lost its eighth position yesterday, which gave him the pole for today to Stefano Coletti, which has dominated the sprint race. The podium have completed Josef Kral and Marcus Ericsson, complete a good weekend.

Van der Garde soon receive a drive through, because a mechanic of your car left grid later had to collect a fan who had been forgotten by your car. Blunder of the Spanish team that has cost the Giedo race. To be able to vote this post you must login or register here.

With all this Bird was in charge of press Coletti, although an error left him out of the race. Grosjean, for its part, was forced to leave in the first round by a touch with Michael Herck, which was very good for Jules Bianchi, winner of the race yesterday, since that finished fourth.

In the end, the result of the race was not definitive, since that Bianchi, Berthoin and Pic have been penalised with 20 seconds per have not respected the yellow flags which have lowered position. In spite of this, Bianchi has been also the point of the lap, be within the top 10.

Dani Clos has had a career fraught with problems that ultimately not him has able to leave a good taste in the mouth after the bad start yesterday. To wait in the Championship you can showcase their talents, because it is, that there is no doubt.

Next week we will have more Asian GP2, this time in Bahrain for the first of two meetings of the Championship in the circuit to see below the start of the formula 1 season 2011. For the moment, the new GP2 car has brought us a good start.

GP2 Asia Series Abu Dhabi: Jules Bianchi debuts in the first race of the year

Career full of things that we have now lived in Abu Dhabi, after also interesting Grill yesterday. This has also served to see the first victory for Jules Bianchi in the category, leading out to tail race, defending pressure Romain Grosjean and Davide Valsecchi, who have completed the podium.

Bianchi has been leader after the departure time when Dani Clos has permeated his single-seater. The majority of pilots have been avoided to Catalan, but Luiz Razia has struck against the single-seater Racing Engineering. Both have been forced to abandon in Varhaug, who has been involved in the accident. To be able to vote this post you must login or register here.

Due to this accident, red flag were pulled out and the race could not be resumed until half an hour later, behind the safety car. Bianchi kept the lead ahead of Grosjean and Valsecchi, positions remained until the end, although DAMS pilot put much effort.

Bianchi, he made a series of laps at the end of career, and these sentenced the result to distance themselves from "countryman" (remember that Grosjean is French for having been born in Switzerland licensed). Valsecchi had a quiet career that gives a podium to Team Air Asia on his debut.

After three members of the podium, a thrilling match has ended with a good overtaking from Marcus Ericsson about Giedo van der Garde on the last lap. In summary, the race has been quite entertaining, showing that the new single-seater seems so demanding as above.

Talking about new stuff, this race has also served to see the debut of the new Pirelli tyres. Although some teams were afraid that these desgastaran very fast in this race has been no problem. In fact, some pilots have done much of the same with the same game.

GP2 Asia Series Abu Dhabi: Romain Grosjean takes first pole position of the year

If anyone still doubted as steering and their ability to carry the title Romain Grosjean has led the first pole position of the year, in official training for the first race of the GP2 Asia Series in Abu Dhabi. Furthermore, in the area are all that have to be.

Grosjean behind with a stratospheric time to four tenths have had Jules Bianchi, closely followed by Valsecchi and Dani Clos, fourth. Van der Garde has confirmed its level, with a well-deserved fifth position, followed by a rather inspired Marcus Ericsson. To be able to vote this post you must login or register here.

As for the beginners, Esteban Gutierrez and Nathanael Berthoin have given very good sensations, topping the ninth and tenth respectively, ahead of pilots as Sam Bird or Oliver Turvey. If they still could reach the European season with very good level.

In spite of this, the session has not been empty of incidents, since that Mikhail Aleshin has been penalised three positions for having crossed the finish line twice after completing the qualifying session. In addition, Fairuz Fauzy has been relegated to the tail of grilled by a touch with Cecotto.

The first race of the season, and this ultimately will be held at noon two (Spanish hour), while the "sprint" race is reserved for Saturday. Hopefully tomorrow see a good result for Dani Clos, but above all, an interesting career. The protagonists at the moment, are suitable.
