Marussia Virgin Racing does not want experiments in MVR-02

It is not the first time in the design of a Virgin Racing, now Marussia Virgin Racing, space has a key role. The year passed the gas tank was too small to finish a race without having to refuel in a season without repostajes. This year, the space which is lacking in VR-02 is the KERS. But in this case is not any error. The last single-seater Marussia Virgin Racing has been designed without the use of the KERS. Responsible for design, Nick Wirth it has summed up perfectly with their statements.

The fact is that the KERS is extremely expensive and heavy, and enhancements only three tenths. If we're at three seconds!

The aim of the British team with Russian flag will not be another that enhance their reliability. Last year his problems with the hydraulic system left them out almost race after race. This is another reason why Marussia Virgin Racing abandoned the option of placing the leaks lead to new Lotus Renault GP R31. After test simulators took a much less innovative solution but should ensure you that they will not have problems.

Virgin presents the new MVR-02

This morning we saw one of the last cars 2011 remained to be seen. In London has been presented the new Virgin Racing will receive the MVR-02 nickname car, "M" obviously refers to Marussia. The second year on the grid will be in hands of Timo Glock and one of the rookies of the year, Jerome D'Ambrosio.

If we look at images can see a nose much lower than that of most of its rivals and inflows of radiators of lesser size than the rest. We'll see if this year it runs the technology and design by CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) is the key to a good year for the Russian team. Virgin introduced his MVR-02 2011

This Monday the Virgin Racing team presented his single-seater 2011 MVR-02 in London.

The now part of the team at Marussia property launched MVR-02 in with television BBC in London.

The car with a nose substantially less than many cars seen in the first test in Valencia last week, once again has been designed exclusively with the help of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) instead of a traditional wind tunnel.

But rumors of MVR-02 with similar to Renault R31 exhaust outlets seem to be confirmed.

Also on Monday, Gary Paffett gave the first laps promotional way the McLaren, MP4-26 near Barcelona.

The real work of the British will begin on Tuesday with a session of Stobart on Idiada Proving Ground before the debut of the car on the circuit of Jerez on Thursday.
