GP of Monaco F1 2011: Fernando Alonso dominates the second session of free

After a couple of hours after the first session of free we are in a batch that can give us more clues by the time of the day, the conditions of the track and other factors that they resemble the second session of free practice at the Monaco Grand Prix race. The meeting began as something strange to the Spanish: within 10 minutes of meeting Jaime Alguersuari was going straight at Santa Devota and broke the nose of his STR.
Almost gets ahead shortly after Fernando Alonso a Felipe Massa who was not know very well what. But it was stopped. In short, an incomprehensible detail and more when Alonso was fastest lap. Details fools that we do not understand very well, but Massa is not the first time that it is in a mess of traffic.
Fernando Alonso marks the best time, 1: 16,408 riding tires 'prime' (soft in this case). Half of the session will be the fastest time of all those who have mounted these prime, waiting to ride the superblandas and know what the real difference in time per lap, as well as durability.
Nico Rosberg, for example, was the closest to Alonso with 'prime them' to get after 6 laps on track momentarily second place with 1: 16. 917. If too much strange movement, ends the first half hour with some problems for Vettel, nothing serious but has lacked some grip ahead in braking of the Anthony Nogues at the beginning. And also all fairly stable
You have seen you (to Fernando Alonso) very high and constant performance with the 'prime' worn, scoring + 0.169 on best time so far in which we found ourselves. In the meeting itself, much traffic on the track and multiple laps frustrated by this fact. There have been few incidents, the first for Alguersuari as we were saying, and then Paul Di Resta has had to stay outside, just after the tunnel stopped his car instead of negotiating the chicane.
And so we come to the half of the session when Sebastian Vettel gives a lap with the 'option' (superblandas) and lowers 0.6 Alonso time. Behind Massa arrives with the superblandas also, problems to not cross the car and third best record. Spectacular Massa crossing the Ferrari, going to a trip of protections.
Little was missing Alonso used the option and lowered by more than 0.5 time Vettel, and 0.65 of Felipe Massa. Great meeting of the two Ferrari, but best will be for the Saturday probably. Moment Alonso, Button, Vettel, Rosberg and Massa in the top five positions, and the rest of the session has been a little bored, sincerely. Neither Heidfeld nor Petrov have managed to go from P10, seventeenth behind Buemi Alguersuari (guess what, 2 and a half behind).
The rest of the meeting, runs long for the two men of Ferrari, with the 'option' Massa and Alonso with 'prime them'. It seems that search times ended in the session. Finally Hamilton was second with a lap of 1: 15. 228, and Rosberg third to fourth Button. It seems that the 'option' perform approximately 1.4 to 1.6 seconds faster per lap.
If someone was going to a better time would be out in the photo. Great meeting of Alonso and Ferrari generally, interesting to see the 'option' in performance and durability and see that either nobody well gone for days, or times of Fernando Alonso are very consistent in order to be ready for Saturday. The day after tomorrow we will have a new session, the third, which will give us more information and we will see what will bring the Grand Prix of Monaco 2011.

GP2 Asia Series Abu Dhabi: Stefano Coletti dominates the sprint race

Relatively predictable career which we have lived today in Abu Dhabi. Max Chilton was penalized and lost its eighth position yesterday, which gave him the pole for today to Stefano Coletti, which has dominated the sprint race. The podium have completed Josef Kral and Marcus Ericsson, complete a good weekend.

Van der Garde soon receive a drive through, because a mechanic of your car left grid later had to collect a fan who had been forgotten by your car. Blunder of the Spanish team that has cost the Giedo race. To be able to vote this post you must login or register here.

With all this Bird was in charge of press Coletti, although an error left him out of the race. Grosjean, for its part, was forced to leave in the first round by a touch with Michael Herck, which was very good for Jules Bianchi, winner of the race yesterday, since that finished fourth.

In the end, the result of the race was not definitive, since that Bianchi, Berthoin and Pic have been penalised with 20 seconds per have not respected the yellow flags which have lowered position. In spite of this, Bianchi has been also the point of the lap, be within the top 10.

Dani Clos has had a career fraught with problems that ultimately not him has able to leave a good taste in the mouth after the bad start yesterday. To wait in the Championship you can showcase their talents, because it is, that there is no doubt.

Next week we will have more Asian GP2, this time in Bahrain for the first of two meetings of the Championship in the circuit to see below the start of the formula 1 season 2011. For the moment, the new GP2 car has brought us a good start.
