Grand Prix of Great Britain F1 2011: free seconds with Felipe Massa commanding
Quite boring for more than 45 minutes meeting that did not leave any single-seater for the given track conditions which was wet but not power and with a quite important shower. In the second half, were slowly coming to track all pilots to assess conditions and times were down, but with some parsimony. The truth is that you there are little relevant to count at a meeting in which seem to all have dedicated to file with the few tests that have been carried out.
With ten minutes to the end of the same Webber leading the table ahead of Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher, while Sebastian Vettel was put in a single round the seventh behind Sutil, Buemi and Alguersuari. It has in fact fallen (Vettel) away from the car as if things weren't with him. I already say that little chicha in general, until the last three minutes...
Five minutes from the end none of the McLaren had set a time, something of relevance if possible because it seemed that the thing would look like. Several problems of grip for Hamilton brought him to number 11 in the absence of less than four minutes, and Button little was known.
That if, at the last minute all at a, as Fuenteovejuna, and Nico Rosberg first did with the first place, Hamilton with the second who immediately stole Kobayashi (already replenished the problems of the first session), Button was fourth and Perez fifth. But not just there the thing because it would be Di Resta to the fifth relegating Perez in seventh place. Seventh? Yes, because Massa marked a 1: 49.967 for first place. More changes, but we can already see this in the time table. Ferrari first free seconds, a little crazy and much boredom to then give a reasonably fast lap in the conditions of the track.
GP of Monaco F1 2011: talk of Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa
It will have to do a Loews. -Pedro de la RosaThis is the summary of what would come after the 33 lap race, the summary that the two commentators of exception we have (fortunately) in the sixth gave us moments before the most controversial moment in real time that we had at the Monaco Grand Prix. The amount of comments generated on our LIVE at that time as well attested. Now, has Hamilton made good? What happens with Massa?
If you do a Loews it will be up with Massa. -Marc Gene
For it does not, know perfectly well with who is playing. -Pedro de la Rosa
Let's try to objectively tell what we have seen tonight in the Principality with these two players, now that we we have calmed a little starting with me, and then we will give our opinion in this regard, particularly in comments that we are waiting for.
What happened in Loews, seeing the repetition, it is that Lewis Hamilton has attempted to be brought forward to Felipe Massa has been hollow minimum. Massa has not opened the door. Hamilton has risen (medium car) interior of Loews piano, and before having gained position has pushed with his right front tire to Massa, lifting a couple of pieces in the air. That is what I see in the replay.
Just by what I see in the repetition and as I said at the outset to later recant me, Felipe Massa is on the outside in the tunnel. For the dirty part. And loses grip going against the wall, in a maneuver that I am in the head but I think the most novice of the weekend. For my in this situation the fault lies with Massa and jeopardized his career with the result of neglect by accident.
In this case, If I said that Hamilton should be punished I was wrong and I admit. It is not easy to catch all the live, but watching the reruns (that already show Massa on the outside, there is a section that we have not seen so far), is the fault of Massa, we do not know why.
Before proceeding, I have to say it. If we applaud Senna when he said that if he sees hole should pass, or (almost) you must dedicate yourself to make calceta, must be applauded that drivers with the hot blood left (arrests and other synonyms that we all know) to go through where created that they can pass. And Hamilton me is demonstrating that it is a pilot who was born at the end of the 20th century but has the touch of pilots that today, are mythical.
But the Formula 1 has changed for better or for worse, and I must say that I think, that it helped precipitate a, not two times today. First with Massa at Loews. Then with Maldonado in Santa Devota. But in his defence, I think that Pastor has closed the door when it didn't have to do it. These are racing, decisions must be taken in hundredths of a second and why these men are superior.
Pass by out in the tunnel is a sovereign stupidity, but must be seen in this frame of mind, within the single-seater. Sincerely. I thank you for a career like this, and repeated in the future because we are clearly witnessing the best sport in the world. And now, I hope in the comments, is that there are queue waiting for this theme.
Last minute: statements of Hamilton for the BBC. In summary: Hamilton said that he had been with the Commissioners five times in six races, that this must be a joke. On Massa, says that you can not advance in Monaco but he was much faster than the Brazilian. I went into Loews, but Massa closed and should go up the piano. About Maldonado, said that the Venezuelan slowed down and acted as if he was not and collided with him. He jokes that the Commissioners will for him perhaps because he is black. This in any case detract confidence in his leadership. I sincerely believe that Hamilton is more than a big one. At this time, when I was going to post this I have seen the video and not is what to say. It is difficult. Thanks to MCharly for the runway in extremis!
Grand Prix of Spain F1 2011: Felipe Massa confident that Ferrari will be competitive
A few days ago my colleague Igor put us familiar with the words of Luca Cordero di Montezemolo to Felipe Massa. The Brazilian does not happen by the best of times in the Italian team, and the words of his boss may have a double reading. What is clear is that it will have to improve its performance if you don't want to see jeopardized his steering wheel in the face of the 2012.
With the Grand Prize of Spain just around the corner, Massa has been tapped to comment on his impressions about how faces the Scuderia the weekend. The Brazilian gave its opinion at the opening of the first Ferrari Store of Spain, located in the Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona.
I hope to be competitive here. We are working hard to develop the car. We would have to have an even better than the previous race. Hopefully we have a great weekend in front of all Spaniards who support us.It remains to be seen if Ferrari gives that leap forward that badly needs to Start slashing points in the standings. Just in case, the Italian team has begun working on the single-season next. Bad signal, or just ahead?
Felipe Massa tested a much improved Ferrari in Vairano
The Chinese Grand Prix to make clean slate and new account with the Ferrari 150 ° Italy were given term in Maranello. The career of Shanghai was the last chance for the seat of the Scuderia. The results were pretty mediocre and Ferrari played you activating its alternative plan.
Istanbul Park should be a much improved Ferrari on the trial which was held in China two weeks ago. As discussed in ACE, they are almost as many technical innovations as they would those be they presented in Barcelona 14 days later. Come on, that would almost be a Ferrari 150 ? Italy B. this first series of improvements yesterday proved them Felipe Massa in the circuit of Vairano at the Circuit de Catalunya.
In the face of Istanbul Ferrari has been working on two fronts. The first is to try to reduce the degradation of the front tires. The second, take advantage of the benefits of a more flexible than the current front wing. A solution believed is one of the major innovations of the Red Bull kb7.
The Italian team took one of these day filming to track its improved single-seater. It was not possible to roll it with the new parts because the FIA does not allow it in a day filming, but yes they could prepare it to save time when mounting them, for example by raising the back of the car. On Friday in Istanbul Park we shall see the racing car with all the developments planned for the Grand Prize of Turkey.
Test of the Circuit de Catalunya. Felipe Massa Gets the best four days time
Felipe Massa has obtained the best time of the four days, down from minute veintires seconds. The Brazilian has continued to demonstrate good form of Ferrari, eight tenths ahead of Mark Webber, who was second. The third position of Sebastien Buemi gives illusions to the second Red Bull team.
The fourth position has been to Nick Heidfeld, Lotus Renault GP, it has become to have, again, problems with the KERS, which seems to be the weak point of the seat. Behind him, Lewis Hamilton has enjoyed a good day in which has been giving many laps and try various things. To be able to vote this post you must login or register here.

The German has been simulating distances career, so the pace has not been so high.
For Jarno Trulli, has only been able to give 18 laps due to a crash in the morning, which has prevented him from further rolling by lack of spare parts. According to Team Lotus, is not yet clear cause of the accident. They know that it was due to a mechanical problem but has not been determined which.
Now, we will have to wait to see if the next tests become in Montmelo, which would allow us to directly compare the times of the teams with new developments with the times made these four days. More news soon.

Jerez testing: Felipe Massa fastest track
One of the preseason 2011 F1 test. Great title and great desire we have on this boot soon. Felipe Massa is the first putting the head of the classification in these tests, and although never mean anything, as always: be first is good for morale.
But not only that, that time has managed are interesting because reached this 1: 20.709 in the seventh round of a "long" stint. That is good for having achieved a certain load of fuel and tyres are not qualifying, but rolling. Hence interesting to me.

Sergio Perez, with Sauber Ferrari second classified with a best time of 1: 21. 483, which however has its trick. Achieved in the first round of a stint of 8 (the stint base that has been used Sauber, never more than 8 turns followed), and then times have simply sunk. Pass 1: 21 in the first round to a tone of 1: 25 or 1: 27 is meaning time sink.
Completely unlike Mark Webber, with its 1: 21.522 (of first round in 6 stint) placed third but repeat feature of 2010: pace high and constant in almost all his stint and two stint long (over 12 laps) at constant rate of 1: 23 attest that RedBull remains as we are accustomed, with much merit.
Also be seen shooting McLaren MP4-26 Finally, and reading is there today to see where is the car. A best time of Hamilton touching 1: 22 (1: 21. 914) places it now fifth, and rhythm in medios-largos sitints is around 1: 23-1: 24. Time will have to shoot more. Incidentally qu eme forgot Ricciardo, made with Toro Rosso rhythms of 1: 23 for stints of average length. His best round 1:21.7 is really good.
Less fortunate or less rate to Force India, Lotus Renault, Mercedes GP and Williams-Cosworth Lotus and Virgin (almost logically) on a first day of tests interesting and also expected. Tomorrow, more.
