We will always be LeMans: back Porsche!

Us as comentasteis in the post about engines turbo and also via the contact form, and it is one of the news that more going to be happy from now on, life because Porsche returned to compete at Le Mans. Returns the factory who got the highest number of victories in the race of 24 hours (16 WINS) and now the important thing is to deal with the emotion of this Declaration of intent. This is the video that we have seen with the submission of intent to 2014, when they entered his new LMP1.
The beginning of the video with the heartbeat in crescendo is a copy of what I feel that Miss one time that we do not live but that would have given a couple of little use fingers to be able to live.
There is no data on how it will be the prototype, although the factory already has experience recently in the AMLS with the RS Spyder LMP2, developed by Penske. It remains to be seen how to configure rules for 2014, but is clear bet Porsche for trying to go for the tenth seventh victory in the most epic World endurance test. By commemorating a little, and waiting for more information go to count here, we revive some videos that will surely make us wish more forcefully any novelty, but above all to see "the bug". And let us not forget the scoring was done in February of Porsche 936 at Le Mans in 1977. A delight.

Many thanks to all who have sent the track!

Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid 2.0

He made his debut last year and after the good results, Porsche have clear that hybrid technology is the way forward in endurance racing. For this reason, in 2011, Porsche presented the Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid in version 2.0. A completely revised model and many believe that it is the laboratory in which Porsche prepares its future landing in the top division of the 24 hours of Le Mans.
The main feature of the porsche 911 gt3 R hybrid, his KERS of based on a flywheel (turning to more than 40,000 rpm) and developed by williams hybrid power, remains the same, but due to the use of carbon fiber they have succeeded in reducing its weight by 20%. This point has been important in the development of the 2011 model longer than the total of all weight has fallen to the 1,300 kilograms (1,350 in the 2010 model).

The energy stored in the KERS is transmitted to the two front wheels with two electric motors that deliver 75 kW (100 HP) to each of them, 15 more than in the version 1.0 kw. To make use of this power increase pilots can activate the KERS in two ways: through a button on the steering wheel or by the kickdown (extra path of the accelerator pedal) system.
In the part of combustion, the 6-cylinder boxer engine has been reduced its power until the 465 HP. The reason is simple, in Porsche they seek a better relationship between consumption and power now that the objective of the 911 GT3 R Hybrid 2.0 is to get the same times that in 2010 but with less consumption. Finally, and to make it easier for the pilot, much of the controls and displays has concentrated on the steering wheel. In 2010, the creation will be the test bench and the 24 hours Nurburgring his litmus test although we do not rule out see him in other major appointments as the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup.

Mark Webber driving amazing Porsche 911 GT2 RS

If you add a spectacular car to a formula one driver we get a spectacular video as a result. If the pilot is Mark webber, who repeatedly demonstrated their good manners at the wheel of car series, sobran words. And add the sports in action is a Porsche 911 GT2 RS power 620CV we get a video full of drifting strokes with an incredible plasticity and spectacular.

It does not much more to enjoy a track that looks to be quite cold. Frio may not characterize the Australian that leaves fortunate companions with printing side. And we must be an unforgettable experience give a round of co-pilot in a sporty "piloted" by one of the protagonists of the great circus. I instead give me a back delighted at the controls of this beast in Stuttgart.

1977 is a date that is far away for most of us (I was born the following year). 34 years will fulfilled since shot these images aboard a Porsche 936 in a return by La Sarthe circuit. This version of the circuit is not ocmola today we enjoy each year in the new edition of the 24 hours of Le Mans, but which provided spectacular Hunaudieres 6 kilometres, almost, long, completed by a curve of barely 60 mph requiring a braking commenced a hundred meters before reaching it of ordago.

Porsche 936, moreover, is one of the legends of Motorsport and in 1977 was in the prime of life, the best of their existence and fullness of authority. Highlight above all its powerful engine sound, and that precisely the pilot that leads in the video is Jurgen Barth, teammate in Le Mans 1977 of a such jackie icxx and Hurley Haywood, who were ultimately victorious test at the controls of the Porsche 936 decorated by Martini.
