Grand Prix of Spain F1 2011: Tony Fernandes holds a great result for Team Lotus

Tony Fernandes holds a great result for Team Lotus, achieved in the qualifying session held this afternoon. Although entry may not seem so, the reality is quite different. Heikki Kovalainen has become faster in the Q2 than the two Force India, in addition to beat the Williams of Barrichello in the Q1.
The fifteenth position achieved by the Finnish pilot is, Tony Fernandes, a reward for all the hard work that puts Team Lotus in the car and the entire project in general. However, Fernandes does not want that the team is now entrusted, and precisely, these results, considers that it is time to work harder than ever.
Heikki Kovalainen, for its part, says that even more speed from the Lotus can be drawn. The pilot wanted to highlight the work of the mechanics during the night and during the third session of free practice, to develop the car and going as well as it has done. He has hopes to get a good result tomorrow.
As for Jarno Trulli, continues with the tone of last season. More problems in his Lotus made him suffer a session of classification with much uncertainty, as did not know if he would go on track until the last moment. In the end, an eighteenth position is a sufficiently acceptable, taking into account the problems.

Tony Fernandes does not plan to change the name of the formula one team, but that of GP2

Today has become official purchase of Caterham Cars by Team Lotus. Questions about the future have been many, for Tony Fernandes, who has stated that he does not plan to change the name of the formula one team, although that of GP2.
Indeed, what today is known as "Team Air Asia" in GP2 will change name to something like "AirAsia Caterham". I say like, because officially it is still not confirmed, and the own Tony Fernandes does not know if it will take time and permission to change the name.
During the event today in Duxford, Fernandes has said that it is funny how life changes the preset paths. These comments relate to how the last year it seemed that the Union between Group Lotus and Team Lotus would end up happening.
The Malaysian explains that if he could, day, return to the past and decide with whom you want to join, you would do with Caterham, and no Group Lotus. Hot air which is expected on the day of the announcement, but is interesting to see the opinion of Fernandes.
