Daytona 500 of the new and old

This is the great video summary of Bumpsnotes focused on eight minutes and half who gave if Daytona 500 Sunday race. I say this is the career of the new and old, what's new on the victory of Trevor Bayne (the youngest of the story), elder fondly, as a souvenir to Dale Earnhardt in a shocking third round of race to the public by show of hands with the number three of the old Earnhardt. Become tributes on many occasions in the races but as multitudinous as not I remember.

If visteis the race, will enjoy the video, and if not, prepare you to see a good move career ending with great excitement for the protagonists. On the one hand for sure that there will be who has passed the finish line thinking "do but what...?", on the other is the excitement of a kid 20 years who do not believe what he has done.

On the other hand, what could have been the tributes tribute not be could consummated by a wheel that lost presion… Dale Earnhardt Jr. is having a difficult season start of the problems experienced. So being able to lead and probably beat, he spent in few turns to the tail of the peloton, to return to the head and having to give again.

Carl Edwards, second to 118 thousandths of Bayne as we discussed yesterday, is leader of the Sprint Cup thanks to the new regulation of the NASCAR while Bayne has scored for the Nationwide series. Edwards is the leader of the Sprint Cup and speaks of his rival for the Daytona 500:

You know, as a competitor, in a way no matter who wins. But as a person as a friend of Trevor, is awesome to see him get an achievement of this caliber. I know him from recently but it really seems a good guy. I think many people inside looks. And fortunately many fans are. And that is good for the sport.

Although I would have liked beat, that safe

David Gilliland was third classified with Bobby Labonte fourth, Kurt Busch fifth and sixth Juan Pablo Montoya was the first classified Chevy. Here the results of the 20 top treble that Ford might add.

Trevor Bayne rookie takes the 500 miles of Daytona

Aged 20 newly (met them on Saturday, the guy) and in his first participation at the event Trevor Bayne has expired in the Daytona 500, and you step become the youngest winner in the history of the mythical 500 miles. Also this has been the first victory in ten years of team Wood Brothers in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, which makes it even more special.

The race yesterday was the moves: 74 changes leader with 22 leading different pilots in some point 16 yellow flags, Trevor Bayne leader in the most important moment: to pass the flag to boxes. That Yes, 118 thousandths of a second ahead of Carl Edwards, a priori or rather, who was personally my favorite seen seen. To be able to vote this post you must login or register here.

It is curious Bayne has earned in his first participation, which is what just happened, obviously when opened the race. There, which won do in his first participation. Thus, without removing excessive credit to the first winner of the Daytona 500, Bayne is the only driver to win in his first participation in modern times.

There are also other information which is not only Bayne is rookie, but the race yesterday was his second participation in the series. It is brutal win in your second career, but even more do so in an event of the relevance of the Daytona 500. Coincidence? More luck than anyone else? Do not believe, the truth. Also missed the last sessions of practices.

Now, already more relaxed after the race and to publicize the winner, we will be preparing the summary of the Daytona 500.
