Aston Martin Muscle Milk and BMW win on the streets of Long Beach

 After 12 hours of Sebring, the american Le mans Series set course to the warm California. The stop was in the streets of long beach who have lived this weekend a real marathon competition with the presence of simultaneous of ALMS and IndyCar Series.
In LMP1, the race was a hand in hand between the Aston Martin of the Muscle Milk team and the Dyson Racing Lola B09/86-Mazda. And it was not because they were the fastest but because they were only prototypes enrolled in the higher category. The ALMS do not pass on his best time. In LMP2, a registered and thanks to the participation of five Formula Le Mans, the presence of the prototypes was more than testimonial.
In the battle to two, Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf defeated Chris Dyson and Guy Smith despite the attempts of the latter. After two hours of career, the Aston Martin of Muscle Milk won by just 25 seconds over the Dyson Racing Lola-Mazda.

There was a totally different picture with the presence of the big brands of the category in GT: BMW, Chevrolet, Ferrari, and Porsche. Moreover, in that order crossed the goal with the victory of Dirk Muller and Joey Hand behind the wheel of one of the BMW M3 of Rahal Letterman Racing. Second were Oliver Gavin and Jan Magnussen Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 officers while Toni Vilander and Jaime Melo completed the podium with the Risi Competizione Ferrari 458 Italy.
