I suppose that in the middle of Holy week, not he clashes too say: Blessed career which gave us the layout of Shanghai! But I do not tire of repeating the key being to make the races so blurred the rubber prepared by Pirelli to make his return to formula one in the high-profile.
Maybe that in this Grand Prix in particular, the small difference between 2 and 3 stops strategies put a little bit of extra sauce, but having this strategic freedom which are giving this season tires is really positive for the global show, but do a little more complicated (and exciting) racing read live.
It is justice also mention at this point to the success of the FIA in the incorporation of the mobile wing (DRS) this season. The facility that brings this system to track the differences of car/tires or permitting, is a key factor so that you can mix so happily single-seater to 2-3 stops. The traffic management in the case of the absence of the DRS tumbaria strategies to more stops on many occasions. The success of this system has certainly exceeded expectations many had jobs in it.
We are already going to the race. Even though I try to remember, do not remember any race of which we would call normal (no rain, no Safety Car…) in which almost entirely had 6 pilots head in just 10 seconds. What is more: up to 6 different drivers led the race at some point, with real chances of victory for all of them except for one: Fernando Alonso. But the career of the Asturian look at it then.
There are several drivers that should be noted especially for his performance in Shanghai, but we cannot start by other than Lewis Hamilton. I believe that it will come the day we will occur based on epic races of the British account that we have one of the greats of the sport, and will learn to enjoy it without absurd grudges. I am certainly aware of this long, and runs like yesterday give me the reason.
Hamilton was speck of mired from the grid by a last-minute problem in his single-seat, but the stars (and its mechanics) lined up so that at the third, we could finally see that Sebastian Vettel is not unbeatable. I always say the same, but I would like to remind you once again: a strategy may be better or worse, but is the pilot which can make it winner or loser in court. During the entire weekend Hamilton put everything on their side in the end it came out "face", starting with book a new set of soft for Sunday, following by signing as remarkable as the Heidfeld overtaking (taking advantage of the gap opened by Massa) or that of teammate Button (superbly and courageous to the limit), and ending with the last made him to Vettel in a site that it was probably not the best, but that sure that more beautiful made it.
The career of Mark webber, was not too bad after a very disappointing classification. In the final analysis, however, the handicap of having been eliminated in the first round by not riding a soft game in the Q1, left him in a strategic position which knew how to get all the juice possible. Thus the hard game was removed off on his first laps in the tail, thus minimizing the loss of time associated, and then took advantage of their new games of soft had not been able to use in the Q2 and Q3. The result: that a little more and anticipates up to teammate Vettel (poleman) in a final stint that give much thought to strategists on the possibility to save a soft new when the tank is empty. In any case, Webber is already a specialist in this kind of comeback.
Sebastian Vettel was not his best Sunday to say, and nevertheless, was able to finish second (that says a lot of it). His departure was really bad, and the first stint "capping" determined the rest of his career. The feeling in this first stint was that the McLarens were holding him clearly, but when he had free track nor ended demonstrate that it did. In any case, feel me that if Vettel had been first to leave, this race either you would have escaped. But every time things are going more justita, and the feeling is that in previous races not it could be saving as much as many said.
Fernando Alonso had a disastrous race. His departure was bad, but I would say that the best of the three that has been this year. They will have to look very well the change side pole for next year, because the advantage here of which came from even-numbered positions has been too obvious. This time, Alonso did not sense of having a winning race pace at any time (his best return was worse than the best of the Trulli Lotus!!!), being exceeded in this respect by Felipe Massa, something unprecedented. The strategy not accompanied, but seemed much more serious which took Ferrari to take decisions on the fly as it was developing the race, with Massa both Fernando. Feel me that the problem of Ferrari goes beyond the wind tunnels. They will shooting heads.
The antithesis of Ferrari was Mercedes (at last!) and the strategy chosen for Nico rosberg. With an incredible rate, and a determined strategy and putting the rest in check, only the problems of consumption could distance to Rosberg of having struggled for a deserved victory. But at least we have the Germans on stage.
No time for more. Simply point the great level shown by Lotus in China, the bad race of Jaime Alguersuari (bad luck Yes, but from the start until the abandonment, his career was in trailing positions.) (Has to find his best level urgently), advances in Hispania and that the rookie Resta Di again beat a Sutil whose cache is plummeting.
