Rally of Argentina 2011: Sébastien Ogier makes a serious mistake and gives the victory to Loeb

If I were now Sebastien Ogier would give me your head against a wall until the next Acropolis Rally. Young French star has again demonstrated that there are still many situations does not control, and the get to the last day with a solid advantage seems to be one of them. Argentina Ogier was again leading to the final stage and a turnaround in the first special has graced victory rally.
And that already from the first moment he has been in a very nervous Ogier. In the first leg cut too a curve and its Citroen DS3 WRC dumps returning to track very touched and the severely damaged power steering. Loeb and Hirvonen that at a stroke cut more than 20 seconds in a stretch that despite its length, was the longest of the rally, not brought too much complexity took advantage of that situation.

The second tranche has also helped Loeb placed in second position and cutting the distance to Ogier in more than 8 seconds leaving an almost little difference between the two teammates. Mikko Hirvonen for its part also took advantage of the still leader ran the sections without power steering and reduced the advantage quite.
After a stretch in which again were Loeb and Hirvonen benefited by the problems of Ogier, arrived at the last special, the live stage power. Solberg has flown it, but the main attraction came in the first three times. Loeb has done enough to win the rally and has marked the third time of the special, while that Mikko Hirvonen also exceeded in extremis to an Ogier that enough I had to take the car to finish in third position.

GP of Monaco F1 2011: serious accident of Sergio Pérez

The worst time of the weekend so we have experienced during the Q3 in the qualifying session for the Monaco Grand Prix. While Sebastian Vettel and company marked its times, Sergio Perez has suffered a serious accident at the exit of the tunnel, very similar to what we have seen with Nico Rosberg and Vitantonio Liuzzi.
Although there is currently little information is available, a spokesman for Sauber explained that Sergio Perez is aware and was talking to the doctors that he attended after the removal of the car. It seems that the Mexican driver could have a fracture in his right leg, though, for the time being, all are assumptions.
The accident of Perez has been in a slump at the end of the tunnel, in a manner almost identical to what we have seen this morning with Nico Rosberg, although with worse luck. At the first time, it was impossible to not remember the accident of Karl Wendlinger in 1994, at the same point and hitting the same area, and that he had weeks in a coma.
