Jean Todt supports the test limited during the season

In my view the removal of the test during the season is one of the measures of cost savings more useless that these last years in formula one has been established. Almost two years ago, when it established the rule prohibiting them, already so I argued long and tendidamente. It was an idea which did not convince me anything.
It seems that Jean Todt has an opinion similar to mine. The President of the FIA considers that the measure has been a failure and now wants to see a series of test limited during the season. He proposed three series of two-day test. This idea will be discussed at the next meeting of the formula one Commission, to be held on 23 June in Valencia. He expected to be ratified and implemented in 2012.
The FIA will ask the teams to support the French proposal to make the test during the season to return to the calendar in 2012. If the teams are not in agreement, Todt will implement the standard in 2013.
The words of the President of the FIA in an interview with the media in Turkey were the following:

For me is stupid that there is no test during the season. In the past was a madness that had unlimited test during the year, but moving from unlimited to completely prohibited is not appropriate. Does not allow the young pilots to try, not offered the opportunity to get experience in formula one. I will do everything possible to change this situation for the future.

Asked when he thought that they could return the season test replied:

I am proposing will allow a few days of test during the season as soon as possible. If we have sufficient support will be in 2012. We will introduce the idea in the next Commission of formula one, which will be on Thursday of the career of Valencia, and if not, we can implement the standard in 2013 on our own.
