The FIA has given to the Organization of the Bahrain Grand Prix until June to decide the future of the race in 2011. Originally, the deadline was on 1 may, to decide if the race would be carried out or not. But given that the country's situation does not improve, it has been agreed to give a month more of margin for all the situation improves.
She is clear, therefore, that there are many interests in this race, and no one is willing to be no dispute. Taking into account that the original boundary and in spite of this the race still it has not canceled, few doubts remain thereon. It seems that the new deadline will be June 3, when a Council of the FIA in Barcelona will be held.
From the Organization, said that they wanted the race is held as soon as possible, without specifying if that would be in 2011 or, on the other hand, later. Everything will depend, therefore, of as it is Bahrain within a month, when the new deadline. Our country is, therefore, scene of the supposed final decision making.
In any case, the priority of the country is to solve the situation that are going through, and the director of the Bahrain circuit, Zayed Rashid, says that each passing day, things are going better. Rashid is optimistic about the future, given that, according to him, the national security state, decreed by the King, makes the situation less tense.
