Facing the Grand Prize of Turkey, elected compounds follow the same pattern as that the three previous Grands Prix. Pirelli will take the composite soft ("option") and hard ("prime") to Istanbul Park. As already announced a few weeks ago, the tires will be the same in the Grand Prix of Spain and will not change until the Monaco Grand Prix.
This weekend we will see the new way to differentiate the compounds, since Pirelli color the side of the tire soft to distinguish more easily the hard. Hopefully the supplier to let all parties happy, because this matter seems never ending story.
It will have to see how they respond the Pirelli tires in the Turkish route. A circuit that has a reputation for being quite aggressive with tyres due to their abrasive asphalt and high temperatures prevailing in the area. To this detail added 8 curve, which can be the terror of some, we can have an explosive combination at Istanbul Park.
