As we have said in recent days, the first stage of Mikko Hirvonen was to make it very difficult. Finnish, leader of the Championship, has been highly penalized by its starting position and has lost a lot of time with a view to a possible battle tomorrow for the victory. For its part Sebastien Ogier, ranked has managed to finish the first leader loop.
The morning began with A surprising Sebastien Loeb, which despite leaving second to the section managed to set the best time, placing it also as the first leader of the Jordanian test. Jari-Matti Latvala and Ogier were able to keep pace to the Alsatian, while Solberg started something asleep and was four seconds despite its good position.
The Norwegian took the crust in the second leg, and ended up with the scratch ahead of Ogier, Latvala and Loeb. Young French star was placed at the time second, tied with the same time as his teammate at Citroen, Sebastien Loeb, head of the classification of the test.
As for the Ford, Latvala was still the fastest although had a scare after a small departure from track in the second special. The day is showing very difficult for everyone and the track has many stones and a thin layer of loose soil that hurts a lot the grip of the World Rally Cars.
On the third leg, ninth of the original program, Sebastien Ogier flying and got the lead with a higher than the seven seconds on Petter Solberg and Sebastien Loeb. Fourth is Jari-Matti Latvala who maintains his difference with leader below 10 seconds. Something that certainly cannot be said Hirvonen, who after a morning opening track has been on the road almost a minute.
