Ferran Dragon ends its activities

After leaving this week out 2004 champion, Tony Kanaan, Gil de Ferran today announced that De Ferran Dragon closes its doors and will not participate in the 2011 the Indycar season. The lack of support has been the main reason for team continue not competing after spending the winter making relevant preseason tests.
The own Gil de Ferran has tried to collect more than budget in order to participate in any evidence at the end of the season, or even in one of the tests of importance as the Indy 500, but it seems it has been impossible. The director of the American team has ensured that do not know if there is the possibility of reopening the training in the future.
We work hard to finance the project and we tried everything we could, but we cannot collect the funds needed to do it properly. It is a pity because we had our entire team in the winter, we did quite a few plans and was entrusted to the season that we were ahead.
