Mercedes GP I think the disappointment of the Grand Prix Malaysia

Mercedes GP believe that he has had a very disappointing race in General. Does not reach the level of Williams (leave this analysis to Igor), who with their two drivers out of the race signing a bad weekend, but the performance of the Mercedes seems to me even remotely what promised to be just a few weeks. Already in the official training to Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher behind the two Renault, and Schumacher have seen without even going to the Q3.
But it is not there the thing, while cars have been reliable at all times, with operating the KERS and the DRS and smoothly during the entire race, the two Mercedes have been at the height of the teams of the middle part of the peloton but without showing competitiveness at any time. Nico Rosberg has been at the height of the Toro Rosso and behind the Force India, and Michael Schumacher has taken two dots that should not know you nothing. And less because he has lost with Kobayashi all duels that have kept.
There are positive, and it is what gets Ross Branw. Although both pilots are aware that the pace of race is not the right, the two draw positive conclusions such as the presence in the Q3 of Nico Rosberg and the two points of Michael Schumacher (the first two points of Mercedes GP in 2011). Ross Brawn, as I say, provides the data that clarifies us part of the bad overall result in Malaysia.
We had a couple of stints that we saw were too long, while we were out to see if time could give us a chance. It was our decision, and when it rained as originally predicted, we pay the price of losing one or perhaps two positions
For me what targets the global race was the poor start of Nico Rosberg. It came ninth, would understand a 10th place or better still, struggles with Kobayashi for eighth place, but the poor start mortgaged his career other drivers this weekend. With this I do not do free reviews but a critique as a follower of Mercedes GP and especially Nico Rosberg, because I think that the start of season is quite mediocre. You sure are replaced, no doubt.

Jenson Button: "Lorenzo's I think we see greater degradation of the tires"

Approaching the Grand Prize of Malaysia and thereby pilots begin to give their first impressions about the event. To do not vary again make an appearance one of the recurring themes in this beginning of season, Pirelli tyres and their alleged high degradation. I say supposed because in the Grand Prize of Australia his good behaviour surprised everyone, and even some dared to go to a one-stop.
In Sepang, Jenson Button hopes to increased wear of the tires that in Albert Park. English wields the most abrasive asphalt and its high temperature as two factors that will influence enough wear and tear on the compounds. Two details which, in his opinion, will have much to do in the endurance of the tires in the Malaysian event.
Button justified his reasoning:
In Sepang it will be much more heat, with higher temperatures of the asphalt, perhaps as high as 45 ° C, and the asphalt is very abrasive, especially compared with Albert Park, which is very smooth. Sepang requires much stability at high speed of the tyre. All of these factors will make more delicate management of tires, and I think that there will be a further degradation and more stops. In terms of wear and durability, Sepang is located in the middle of the table.
The director of Pirelli Motorsport, Paul Hembery, takes a view similar to the McLaren driver; He has predicted four stops of media at Malaysia. Then will come an unconscious as Sergio Perez and pull away so much pessimism with regard to length of the compuestos…
