Mercedes GP I think the disappointment of the Grand Prix Malaysia

Mercedes GP believe that he has had a very disappointing race in General. Does not reach the level of Williams (leave this analysis to Igor), who with their two drivers out of the race signing a bad weekend, but the performance of the Mercedes seems to me even remotely what promised to be just a few weeks. Already in the official training to Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher behind the two Renault, and Schumacher have seen without even going to the Q3.
But it is not there the thing, while cars have been reliable at all times, with operating the KERS and the DRS and smoothly during the entire race, the two Mercedes have been at the height of the teams of the middle part of the peloton but without showing competitiveness at any time. Nico Rosberg has been at the height of the Toro Rosso and behind the Force India, and Michael Schumacher has taken two dots that should not know you nothing. And less because he has lost with Kobayashi all duels that have kept.
There are positive, and it is what gets Ross Branw. Although both pilots are aware that the pace of race is not the right, the two draw positive conclusions such as the presence in the Q3 of Nico Rosberg and the two points of Michael Schumacher (the first two points of Mercedes GP in 2011). Ross Brawn, as I say, provides the data that clarifies us part of the bad overall result in Malaysia.
We had a couple of stints that we saw were too long, while we were out to see if time could give us a chance. It was our decision, and when it rained as originally predicted, we pay the price of losing one or perhaps two positions
For me what targets the global race was the poor start of Nico Rosberg. It came ninth, would understand a 10th place or better still, struggles with Kobayashi for eighth place, but the poor start mortgaged his career other drivers this weekend. With this I do not do free reviews but a critique as a follower of Mercedes GP and especially Nico Rosberg, because I think that the start of season is quite mediocre. You sure are replaced, no doubt.

2011 Formula one season: who will be the major disappointment of the season?

We continue with the motorpasion f1 polls to know your opinion about the world of formula 1 which has just started. Yes, it is early to make any decision on the future and hypothetical results, but although formula one try to be rational, in the end the emotional beats and just taking our opinion about those who hope to see above and on those who believe that they will fail in the attempt. Today we focus on the second group.
The line that separates failure from success can be very fine. A win or a podium, justify a season for an average team such as Williams or Force India. Anything other than fighting for the title, and be with him, is a failure for McLaren, Ferrari or McLaren. A simple point, would be a major success for Team Lotus, Hispania Racing F1 Team or Marussia Virgin Racing.
There are pilots who are eager to conquer the world and end up eating alone, away from the great circus. 2011 may be a season final to Michael Schumacher or Vitaly Petrov, to mention two in particular. The first has nothing to prove, but on his return promised that he would be at least fighting above. We have not seen anything similar.
Meanwhile Petrov won the confidence of Eric Boullier while last season was more than he expected. The Russian has responded with a first podium in the first race of the year. And it is not fruit of a crazy race as they are usually at Albert Park. Petrov scored the sixth position in the ratings, a position which allowed him to aim for the podium. Follow this way, it dissipated any doubt.
