Paul Di Resta would be happy in the cockpit of a Mercedes GP

Not finished talking about a pilot that will be the beans himself from now when we have another pilot who speaks of her future happiness. Paul Di Resta, without a doubt the rookie of the season with performances well above expectations to a Force India commanders, declares that the cockpit of a Mercedes GP would make him happy. There is this, but we have to qualify it because the source of the news has a bit of whiff to misrepresent the words of Di Resta.
Paul Di Resta continues to be a protege of Mercedes, that anyone hesitate, and possibly one day we see uploaded to one of the cars of Ross Brawn, but for now he has a contract with Force India, and on the one hand it must comply with it while on the other still should consolidate as a F1 driver. Say that I, with all my ability to be wrong, but go from being a promising rookie solid and consolidated to a pilot there is a way, which by the way not all promising pilots arrive to overcome.

I am part of the Mercedes family, and I would not mind returning some day become a full time Member
Speculation is also going to the figure of Michael Schumacher Mercedes GP within. According to many "experts" (so entrecomillo provided that did not say me what experts are talking about), Schumacher is in form and not show progress over the last year. I am not going to say otherwise, view results, they are but from my experience if not be what is happening on the most intimate of the team, it cannot be said that Schumacher is finished. It is more likely to be on the receiving end of his career than not elsewhere with more tour, but guess this is something quite obvious. You have more than 40 years, right? Then that.
If Schumacher left the team obviously had a vacant square and Paul Di Resta would in my view, a big bet. A champion of the DTM is not an anyone and there I am with the Motorsport-Total. For the moment, on the other hand, I think that the wisest thing is to see how events are developed and how it evolves Di Resta. I hope it continues in the line marked since the beginning of 2011 (in Turkey was something touched by family issues, it seems), and in the future we will talk about in a few months, when it comes.

Sebastian Vettel is happy with Red Bull kb7

Yesterday ended the preseason of formula one with a day passed through water at the Circuit de Catalunya. Red Bull was lucky to have not planned to take part in the meeting, by which escaped from one of these days of pre-season that turn out to be anything less productive.
The bottom line of the offseason for Sebastian Vettel has been quite positive. The German has been happy with the performance offered by the kb7 several pre-season test. Your opinion about the new car of the team of energy drinks is more than satisfactory. To be able to vote this post you must login or register here.

German words were as follows:
The preparation has been good. It's been a long winter and we did a lot of miles, I believe that most of which we have never made during the test, something that is positive. Our goal is now Melbourne. If you ask me for the performance, all what I can say is that I have no idea of where we are, and, as I always say, is impossible to know until we reach Australia. But I am in a good mood? Yeah, I think that I am!
Ian Morgan, Chief Engineer of track, agrees that the evidence with regard to the first race have gone as expected:
We have a reliable car, which has been good from the outset, and the performance looks good also. You'll never know how things are until the end of the Q3 in Melbourne, and although there are always things to improve, I think that we have done the homework.
If in Red Bull have been refining the reliability of their cars, other teams can already go to tremble. A Red Bull kb7 that does not have the problems he suffered his predecessor is a fearsome opponent.

Williams F1 happy with Jerez test despite technical problems

Wasn't Williams F1 among the teams more shot in four days of preseason test played last week at the Jerez circuit. Pastor Maldonado suffered problems with its KERS, with the mechanism that makes it work the adjustable rear spoiler and finally had a runway exit. The Venezuelan conformed with 52 laps over the two days in track. A figure is even little for a single day of test.

For its part, Rubens Barrichello was able shoot more than 200 laps between Saturday and Sunday but that doesn't mean that it bdeliver no problems. The KERS again cause problems (must remember that in 2011 Williams will use a KERS batteries instead of the kinetic KERS used in 2009) also had a hydraulic problem (what is said when it is not known what happens) that left him on track.

In spite of this, Grove, F1 technical director Sam Michael, has refused to be major problems. Them has been rated as easy solution problems. That Yes, also reveals that has perhaps been the secret of great time achieved by Rubens Barrichello the domingo. The Brazilian was conducting a wave without KERS. At the Circuit de Catalunya, Williams F1 will again assemble the KERS. We'll see if times accompany.
