Haug is happy to see Heidfeld at Renault

Mercedes sports affairs director is happy to see Nick Heidfeld returning to the F1 grid even with a rival team.


After losing his seat from BMW, the German pilot began season passed as Mercedes reserve driver to later become Pirelli, test pilot to return to the grid with Sauber at the end of the season.


Once again in 2011, Heidfeld faced to the prospect of a season on the bench, and believed that it was close to reach an agreement to return to his reserve role at Mercedes.
