New victory for Martin Tomczyk. This time at the Eurospeedway Lausitz

For the first time in the recent history of the DTM, a pilot with a car for a year (taking into account that the newest version of the Championship is still the 2009) grinds out two victories in a season. And they might not be the only ones. In the past, Jamie Green, in 2010 and 2010 Norisring and Gary Paffett in Oschersleben 2007 had achieved that milestone.
After the victory achieved in the Bull Ring network, in the day yesterday, Martin Tomczyk took the win at the Eurospeedway Lausitz without that no one could stop them. Third on grid, German climbed a position at the exit to deal the final blow to Bruno Spengler during the first round of stops. The Canadian first entered something that advantage Tomczyk to continue shooting and trying to get the necessary distance. A wonderful move of refueling and change of wheels of the team of Tomczyk, 3.2 seconds by the 3.7 of Spengler, allowed producing change in the leadership.
From there, and with free land by delanta, Martin Tomczyk was the direct and no one could or coughing you. Not even Timo Scheider. The two-time (2008 and 2009) started from the ninth position but a strategy with a very long first stop and a second very short allowed to ascend to the second position ahead of Spengler. Finally the Canadian was third in 14 seconds! Winner Tomczyk.
For its part, very unlucky of Miguel Molina. The Spanish was gradually ascending positions to sixth position. A result which would have allowed it to achieve the first points of the season. A broken dream. The clutch problems ended his career. A new zero for Molina but that is partly rewarded for the good words had Wolfgang Ullrich to the after the race.
In general, Martin Tomczyk is the new leader with 30 points, one more than Bruno Spengler while that Timo Scheider amounts to the third position of the general with 19. Next appointment in the mythical urban layout of Norisring.

Pole of Bruno Spengler at the Eurospeedway Lausitz. Third of the year

Following the excellent results achieved by Martin Tomczyk at the Red Bull Ring of Spielberg, pole and victory at the wheel of an Audi A4 in 2008, it seems that things have returned to a more logical place. The current leader of the Championship, and poleman in Hockenheim and Zandvoort, Bruno Spengler, has achieved the pole-position in the fourth meeting of the season at the Eurospeedway Lausitz. The pilot of Mercedes-Benz takes third pole of the season, showing that on the day of the Sabbath is the fastest and the qualification of the Red Bull Ring was a blur.
Along with Spengler, and completing a first-line Mercedes-Benz, the British Jamie Green. Just from behind, Mattias Ekstrom has recovered from the failure of the previous appointment and with the great feeling of the season, Martin Tomczyk, completed a second-row Audi. Paffet, Jarviz, Kristensen and Albuquerque complete the Top8. In the case of Danish, it's a magnificent result after year and a half without uploading to a DTM.
Among those who have not been within expectations, with a 2009 specification should be called get into Q3 at least, Timo Scheider, ninth and Ralf Schumacher, who has returned to make your own and will come out tomorrow from the seventeenth position. For its part, Miguel Molina will depart from the eleventh position, just behind Christian Vietoris.

Mike Rockenfeller could be low at the Eurospeedway Lausitz after the accident at the 24 hours of Le Mans

After the victory in the 24 hours of Le Mans 2010, Mike Rockenfeller took a leap of quality. The German won the wheel of a pata negra in the DTM and after the first three races had responded to the confidence of Wolfgang Ullrich achieved victory in Zandvoort, the first of his career in the DTM, and becoming one of the claimants to the title match.
But after the terrible accident suffered the Saturday night in the 24 hours of Le Mans, Mike Rockenfeller could lose the quotation of the DTM at the Eurospeedway Lausitz and that it would not be fully recovered from the down. A situation similar to the occurrence with Sergio Perez in formula one. It must be said, Rockenfeller travelling at 300 km/h when he lost control of his Audi R18 to try to beat the Ferrari Italy 459 of JMW Motorsports. The impact is not seen in the images but were sensed the strength after seeing how pieces of carbon fiber fly as if confetti.
Thursday will be known if Rockenfeller is suitable for pilotor his Audi A4 R14 + , or if you need to view the races from the couch of his home in Switzerland. Rockenfeller, the pilot falling is confirmed reservation of Audi, Marco Bonanomi, could have an opportunity while it is possible that it provoked a chain reaction, giving Audi Audi A4 specification Rockenfeller 2009 to the motivated Martin Tomczyk and leaving the specification 2008 (Audi R14) for the Italian Grand Prix.
