The Friday morning has begun as of usual with a Petter Solberg fast and turned to the attack. Finally, rain has not made an appearance, and high temperatures have allowed the Norwegian go up a lead throughout the morning in little more than 20 seconds on the Ford Fiesta RS WRC's Jari-Matti Latvala.

In third position Mikko Hirvonen has positioned after the first three sections, while the two official Citroen then arrive with Loeb and Ogier placed in the fourth and fifth position respectively. It has not been an easy morning to the seven times world champion, as the loose gravel and a problem in his WRC DS3 electronics have prevented him from being closer to Solberg.

After officers found to Mads Ostberg as usual is the first of the rest of the pilots. The Norwegian has lost too much time to make mistakes in a cross, but manages to overcome the "other" Ford Fiesta of Henning Solberg and Matthew Wilson are already more than one minute of difference with the leader.

For its part Kimi Raikkonen only has been able to be ninth and reeling the pace after losing the last test.

At the beginning of the first section I pilote not well, I didn't have a good feeling, but I have been improving. This test begins well, but I thought that he had suffered a flat tire when I noticed that the rear of the car was more loose. Then I played a great bump and now the direction is not straight.
