Today has been concluded the second race of the season of the FIA GT1 Championship in the circuit of Zolder, Belgium. If in the first test the Aston Martin DB9 were the clear dominators, this time it was r-the Lamborghini Murcielago 670 S of the rival to beat All-Inkl. The duo Baseng-Winkelhock achieved the double, with victory in both races, both in the classification of the Championship.
During all the week-end R-the Lamborghini Murcielago 670 S with the pair Marc Baseng and Markus Winkelhock at the controls, it has proved to be the most solvent set in the Belgian circuit of Zolder. Both Saturday and Sunday have been erected as vencederos in the two races disputed.
In the first test, the so-called race classification, r-the Lamborghini Murcielago 670 S of Baseng-Winkelhock has surpassed its rivals. Second were Hezemans-Catsburg with the Corvette Z06 and third Muller-Enge at the controls of the Aston Martin DB9.
In the second race, the so-called race of the Championship again r-the Lamborghini Murcielago 670 S of Baseng-Winkelhock has been imposed. Then came the two Aston Martin DB9, with Hohenadel-Piccini ahead of Muller-Enge. In this way Baseng and Winkelhock rounded a good weekend in the Belgian layout.
The next test of the FIA GT1 will take place in Portimao, Portugal, in four weeks. The Portuguese circuit will be the third meeting of the calendar of this 2011.
