The first two sessions of the Grand Prize of Malaysia free practice were not any wonder for Ferrari, still less for Fernando Alonso. The Spanish driver has only been able to be ninth in both, leaving almost three seconds of Mark Webber in the first session and to more of a second and a half in the second.

We'll see tomorrow where we are, but we were not fast today and do not expect miracles for the classification. We know that it will be complicated, and will try to provide the best to be as close as possible to the first.Alonso also thinks that the classification will not be as crucial as in other major awards:
Anyway, I think that this will be a race where the classification will be much less important than in other circuits, tyres and the amount of stops that will be made, and the possibility of that rain. The Spanish also indicated that Ferrari are lacking in speed. Now, in terms of wet everything could change radically. In these circumstances are the hands of the pilot which truly make the difference. A few hands that Fernando Alonso is left.
