The last Friday 3rd of June of the FIA World Council gave to much. Confirmed both the formula one calendar from the WRC, reprogrammed the dispute of the Grand Prize of Bahrain, and approved the date of introduction of engines 1.6 turbo 4-cylinder, among others. A morning busy at the firms said.
The FIA effectively approved the entry into force of these engines. In what many have not repaired is that the governing body of formula one has saved an ACE in the sleeve in order to be able to delay the introduction of these propellants in the Grand Circus. They probably wanted to go on insurance and save the expense in the event of discrepancies. We know that Ferrari is not very much agree with this measure.
The official communique of the FIA World Council indicates the following:
In consultation with the parties concerned, and following the outcome of this meeting, a vote by fax of the World Council may be considered until June 30 to redefine the dates of entry into force of these technical regulations. We must bear in mind that the parties concerned in this case include the teams and engine manufacturers. It is assumed that more than one will have something to say on the matter. Even Bernie Ecclestone has been contrary to her. In theory the deadline to make firm decision is on 30 June, but with them you never know.
As well, however the FIA did not rule out delaying the introduction of engines 1.6 turbo 4-cylinder. A detail that many not repaired in recent days, but that is there and should not be overlooked. I do not see so clear to see these propellants in 2013.
