Today is Friday and have to remember what happened last weekend at Winton Raceway during the two rounds of the fifth event of the Australian V8 Supercars Championship. This time Jamie Whincup has certified its superiority with a victory and a second place so that even more placed at the head of the general classification of the category.
The first two rounds began with a nice part of career, and it wasn't until pit stops when Jamie managed to position itself at the forefront of the race. Whincup had to endure a few tentative attacks by the Holdsworth Holden could do nothing to prevent the victory of the leader of the general classification.
The second race left us the second win of the season to Jason Bright who managed to place ahead of Jamie Whincup after a smart strategy for use of their tires. A few more fresh tires allowed Bright overcome one one to their rivals, taking him to win the second round. The current advantage of Whincup on Lowndes stands at 250 points, important advantage when the Championship arrives already to his point average.
