GP of Monaco F1 2011: compounds chosen by Pirelli

We arrived at the Grand Prix of Monaco and we have to give the Welcome to a new compound in the Pirelli, the superblando family (brands in rojo-compuesto option). The softer compound of the range presented by the Italian manufacturer will be used along with the usual soft tyre (prime amarillas-compuesto brands), which seems to be that we will see much of the events of the season.
Pirelli qualifies the tyre superblando, not as a qualifying tyre, but if as a tyre that reaches the temperature very quickly which will allow pilots find their fastest lap since the beginning of use.
The estimated superblando compound's duration will be about 10 laps, provided other than with the single-seat full of gasoline up above. But there not just bad news. The superblando compound has only been tested on permanent circuits so that its benefits for the time being are unknown.
This means that we will see stop the top of the grid very soon, because in Monaco the starting position if that plays a key role and not believe that nobody will easily give up exit from front. On the contrary, soft tyres are going to make the election by all (tire prime). They have already proven them enough during the first five Grands Prix and low degradation of the streets of Monte Carlo will allow it to hold a little more.
Even so, in Pirelli wanted to remind us that in the Monaco Grand Prix, the extra variables are multiplied. Accidents, outputs of the safety-car, the clima…In short, that we can not blame tyres but after apparently at the Circuit de Catalunya, Italian gums are the main variable of any Grand Prix.
