Grand Prix of Malaysia F1 2011: Pirelli recommends not to abuse the extreme rain tyres

Many expect rain at any stage of the proof of this Sunday in the Grand Prize of Malaysia. Towards that point the prediction of the time for the race, although it wouldn't be the first (nor the last) that it fails. To err on the safe, Pirelli has released a notice to computers, he recommended not that her play with the tire for rain extreme if there is little water in the layout.
The Italian automaker warns it is best to change to intermediate as the track is drying. The alleged motive is none other than the degradation suffered by the compound of extreme rain when he is forced to roll with little water on the asphalt.
The director of Pirelli Motorsport, Paul Hembery, has warned that it is not a good idea to move directly from the extreme rain tires to the slicks:
I do not think that they can jump of rain tires to slicks, because wet gums are for lots of rain and do not work well on tracks which are drying, by what would suffer "blistering" (blisters in the rubber) very fast. Not want to be on a dry track with the rain.
It is curious that this warning to sailors just after after the private test Pirelli took place last week in Istanbul Park, with Pedro de la Rosa at the controls of the Toyota TF109. In them the rain did present two of the three days. In view of the events, it will be Hembery right or is a ordago to increase pit stops? It should not be forgotten that in Australia the endurance of the compounds was surprised friends and strangers...
