Dani Juncadella and Roberto Merhi dominate the first meeting of the F3 Euroseries in Paul Ricard

This weekend has begun the 2011 in the f3 Euroseries season (for any questions, I refer you to the previous excellent made the Lynx of the Paddock) and it has done in the best possible way for our two drivers in the Championship. Dani Juncadella and Roberto Merhi have dominated with authority at Paul Ricard. The Spanish share box at Prema Powerteam and after apparently today, and beyond what we can expect, are the two leading candidates to take the title.
Before getting into flour, should be mentioned in this season the F3 Euroseries presented some other change. In 2011, there will be three races at each meeting of the F3 Euroseries: a long first 40 minutes, a second in the sprint for 20 minutes and finally, a third race in 40 minutes.

The following system is used to determine the grills of each race. During the rating takes into account the two best times of the pilots. The best time will determine the position of output in the first race. The second, in the third race. The results of the first race, be counted for the grill of the career of 20 minutes, with the top eight classified in reverse position. More or less as it was the case until now.
As for the score, the two long races are governed by the scoring system of formula one (25, 18, 15th) while the second race will be the score of the DTM (10, 8, 6...).

On Friday, the opening meeting of the F3 Euroseries began in the best way to Roberto Merhi. Merhi had the pole for races 1 and 3, while Juncadella had to be content with fourth place in both grills. In the first race, things not marched well for Merhi that was surpassed by the two pilots of Mucke, Melker and Rosenqvist and Juncadella. Triplet for Mercedes with Jucadella third and fourth Merhi.
In the sprint race, Merhi achieved the first win of the season ahead of Marco Wittmann, first podium finish for Volkswagen that this year it seems that they will not dominate in 2010, and again, third drawer for Juncadella. No they would end up there the good news for the Catalan pilot. This morning in the third race, Juncadella has surpassed Merhi to gain the victory and placed as the first leader of the Championship. Today, second Merhi, is second in a qualifying dominated by Prema and Mercedes.
