In 2011, one of the new rules introduced by the FIA has been curfew. During the night of Thursday and Friday, teams may not work in cars for a period of six hours (depending on each Grand Prize and his schedule change period)
This rule has an exception. The teams will have four wildcards throughout the season. Four opportunities to work in the single-seat all night if there is need. In the day yesterday, Hispania Racing F1 Team spent its first wild card. HRT had to work all night to try to have the car available to the first free practice. Not it could be, at least have able to start the car in the last moments of the second session and complete a first round of installation. Over the last year, they take advantage Saturday free practice session.
