John Hopkins gives a return to Baptist plans in MotoGP with Suzuki.
This is the announcement that the CCF publication reveals. The American pilot will test motorcycle factory GSV-R test of next Qatar at Losail International Circuit after having been chosen as a main driver of the brand at the expense of the Spanish Alvaro Bautista.
The opportunity had arisen after Hopkins signed an agreement to run by the team Crescent Suzuki BSB in 2011, team led by Paul Denning. The test will be his first contact with a GSV-R decision since he finished third in the Grand Prix of Valencia in 2007.
Denning, confirmed that Hopkins is chosen by the team: "We are obliged to be racing and we have to have a backup plan if Alvaro is not suitable in terms of skills, experience and availability".
