After the test in Barcelona yesterday, HRT pattern is very satisfied with the performance of Giorgio Mondini after 39 laps to the layout of Montmelo. Mondini, usual in the squads colles, stood at 5 seconds of the head of the classification, which for the head is a great result considering the last time he boarded a F1 was in 2006.
Apart from the season in Midland F1 as a test pilot, Mondini competed for Squadron Audi Kolles Le Mans Series 2009. But nothing more. Two years virtually no compete at a high level. It has not been more than possible Tester in Midland F1. And we are seeing as it has been able to "see how it is physically" in tests, while Tonio Liuzzi is almost begging for having hole in HRT.
